'Friends of Venus' is my latest body of work, which explores the multi-dimensional facets of human nature, the diverse personas we inhabit & the various roles we assume throughout our lives.
This work is created in a multi-layered process, using photographs of mannequins merged with various mixed media backgrounds including paintings, lightboxes, computer screens & LED lights, which are then re-photographed with a macro lens.
The element of water is a common thread in this collection, which honours the importance of water on our planet & in our daily lives.
Whether through its serene stillness or its unstoppable force, water cleanses, connects, uplifts, transforms & rejuvenates, binding ecosystems, communities & individuals alike.
When viewed up close, the water droplets that have been captured with a macro lens in this collection, reveal intricate details & colours, signifying water's transformative & expansive nature.
All art pieces in this collection are available as archival prints on fine art paper (which are unframed), as well as Plexiglass & archival Diasec prints (which are both frameless & ready to hang).
These limited edition art photography prints are produced in small quantities & are limited to only 5 prints per art piece.
Each print is hand numbered & signed. Once the edition is sold out, no further prints will be produced.
